lunch at café jubilee

we lunched at café jubilee in valletta this week. we have been meaning to go to café jubilee for a whole year, drawn by their legendary ravioli (which truly lives up to its reputation). we had visited their gzira location twice and both times it was full to capacity - an excellent sign, and a lesson learned (book ahead for dinner).

we had the draft cisk beer (the best we've had on the island), the gozo cheese filled ravioli with basilico pomodoro (also the best we've had on the island), the tarragon chicken salad sandwich (average), and a hazlenut chocolate cake for desert (hazlenut is always good in my books).

comfortable, with a creative menu and excellent service, café jubilee in valletta is definitely a new favourite bar/restaurant for us.
