Martinique Beach, Nova Scotia

Mike's surprise date for May was a day trip to Martinique Beach, Nova Scotia's longest beach at 5 kilometres in length. Malta's beaches just don't compare to its size, and with sand dunes, areas to clam dig, and endless stretches of soft sand, it was a beautiful place to stroll for an afternoon. If only the Atlantic ever reached a tolerable temperature for swimming...
