La Republicana Cafe, Zaragoza

This was, without a doubt, one of the best meals of our entire road trip. And it happened here, at La Republicana, in Zaragoza. It is one of the most comfortable, cutest, most authentic neighbourhood restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of dining at. Although there is an 'English' menu, we didn't hear a word of English during our entire meal. And it seemed like the bartender knew most of the patrons by name, as they stopped in for a glass of wine, a small plate, and a chat. On the 'travel authenticity hierarchy', this place rates high.

And a full spread of tapas for two cost us only €20.

Need I say more?
