Segesta's Greek Temple (With Dogs!)

Ever since I wrote papers (yes, more than one) about Sicily's Greek temples during my undergrad, I always always wanted to see them in person. Some of the best preserved temples in the world, nestled in picturesque valleys of wildflowers, you don't need an art history degree to appreciate how stunning they are.

But I never imagined that I would be visiting them with Mike and our pups in tow. It was pretty special, and super surreal. It's not every day you see wiener dogs and Doric temples in the same shot!

p.s. believe it or not, we weren't the only dog owners there!
two other families brought their Fido's with them.
who knew segesta was so dog friendly?
